چکیده

Abstract According to the Neuro Patience report of Neurological Alliance, 1 in 6 people UK has a neurological condition. With growth technology, rehabilitation for problems is one fastgrowing fields. Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) those neuro-rehabilitation methods that uses electrical nerve stimulation restore functional muscle movements are lost due such as stroke and multiple sclerosis. This neuroprosthetic device frequently used assist walking by treating condition called Drop Foot, result paralysis pretibial muscles. study proposes two-channel FES SmartStim, which ability modulate its levels according various obstacles stairs ramps. system employs sensor-based module with Recurrent Neural Network classify these different scenarios. The built Inertial Measurement sensors embedded pair shoes, data from predict user walking. These predictions then Fuzzy Logic Controller control regulate current two channels SmartStim system. In system, channel will help aid drop foot, while other be stimulate another group access ramps user. this been trained tested using k-fold cross-validation. evaluation model shows it can sensor at 97 percent accuracy. Currently, further testing being performed assess workings fuzzy logic controller combination healthy individuals. It expected may users accessing scenarios more efficiently.

A Recurrent Neural Network Model for Solving Linear Semidefinite Programming

In this paper we solve a wide rang of Semidefinite Programming (SDP) Problem by using Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs). SDP is an important numerical tool for analysis and synthesis in systems and control theory. First we reformulate the problem to a linear programming problem, second we reformulate it to a first order system of ordinary differential equations. Then a recurrent neural network...

Synaptic plasticity in a recurrent neural network for versatile and adaptive behaviors of a walking robot

Walking animals, like insects, with little neural computing can effectively perform complex behaviors. For example, they can walk around their environment, escape from corners/deadlocks, and avoid or climb over obstacles. While performing all these behaviors, they can also adapt their movements to deal with an unknown situation. As a consequence, they successfully navigate through their complex...

Convergence Analysis of Adaptive Recurrent Neural Network

This paper presents analysis of a modified Feed Forward Multilayer Perceptron (FMP) by inserting an ARMA (Auto Regressive Moving Average) model at each neuron (processor node) with the Backp ropagation learning algorithm. The stability analysis is presented to establish the convergence theory of the Back propagation algorithm based on the Lyapunov function. Furthermore, the analysis extends the...

An Adaptive Fuzzy Sliding-Mode Controller Design for Walking Control with Functional Electrical Stimulation: A Computer Simulation Study

A major challenge to developing neuroprostheses for walking and to widespread acceptance of these walking systems is the design of a robust control strategy that provides satisfactory tracking performance, to be robust against time-varying properties of neuromusculoskeletal dynamics, day-today variations, muscle fatigue, and external disturbances, and to be easy to apply without requiring offli...

Functional electrical stimulation--neural prosthesis for the disabled.

When the organ systems of the body are studied from an engineering point of view, electricity emerges as the essence of human life. In fact, life itself is now taken to exist only so long as the brain produces measurable electrical activity. It is not surprising, then, that medical practitioners have been fascinated by the effects of externally applied electricity since the beginning of medicin...
